Title - Data Management Administrator

Salary/Rate - £17,000 - £20,000/annum
Location - HD2 1GQ, Pennine Business Park, Huddersfield – HD2

Our client is looking for a Data Management Administrator to work closely with the Global Database Manager.

The main focus of the role is to to prepare large volumes of data for import between systems. We are seeking someone who is thorough and methodical with excellent attention to detail and accurate keyboard skills. Organisational skills are important, along with a knowledge of excel, although training will be provided.

Working closely with the Global Database Manager, the main focus of the role is to prepare large volumes of data for import between systems. This involves:

  • Data cleansing of large volumes of client data
  • Making necessary amendments to ensure that the data is accurate
  • Reformatting data in order to accurately match the format and structure of internal database and spreadsheets
  • Uploading data into internal database
  • Updating internal records to keep track of work in progress
  • Being aware of and reporting any potential risks which arise from inadequate procedures, systems or data handling
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • General IT support/maintenance and updates where necessary

Recruiting criteria – we are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate the following skills, abilities and experience,

  • The use of a thorough and methodical approach
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Accurate keyboard skills
  • Excellent organisation and co-ordination skills with the ability to keep track of progress when working on large volumes of data
  • The ability to organise own work in order to manage multiple priorities
  • Good IT Skills with working knowledge of MS Office including excel
  • Knowledge of SQL and advanced Excel skills would be an advantage
  • Previous experience of working in an office environment, ideally in a similar type of role involving data administration.
