Sr. .Net Engineer

Job responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, support and deploy custom web applications.
  • Design and develop testing and maintenance procedures and activities
  • Create software documentation and update existing documentation.
  • Design, develop and implement critical applications in a .Net environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with business users and project manager
  • Assist and support other team members on multiple projects.
  • Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces
  • Ability to construct user guides and documentation
  • Ability to keep up with projects deadlines and within the clients’ budgets.
  • Ability to read and write in PHP
  • Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout the life cycle of software products

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Education: BS/MS CS or equivalent
  • In depth knowledge (8+ years experience) in .NET technology (ASP.Net, MVC, Web API).
  • Knowledge of .Net Core 1.1 and ability to learn fast is a huge plus.
  • Technically fluent in several programming languages/technologies, including C#, ADO.Net, LINQ, SQL, JSON, XML, XSLT, JavaScript.
  • Experience with jQuery framework & AJAX techniques. Angular JS experience is a plus
  • Experience working with MySQL database: writing & optimizing queries or store procedures
  • Experience with PHP and AWS.
  • Extensive operating systems experience with Windows 2003-2008 Server & Linux Server.
  • Experience working in an Agile development model
  • Experience in full life cycle of software development; requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation
  • Experience in creating software architecture documents or other design artifacts, familiarity with process modeling techniques
  • Stable work history and an ability to collaborate effectively with a distributed team (local & offshore)
