We’re looking for a mid-level, creative copywriter who will play an important part in our growth. This writer will focus on merchandising and selling our online driversEd and traffic school courses with compelling short-form communications.
Our ideal candidate is powerful with words. You love to take a concept and serve it up twenty different ways, across a range of direct response tactics. You are an expert working across all channels, including PPC, paid social, organic websites and email. You know what works – and what doesn’t. You see a business problem and know how to solve it with pithy, focused communications.
It would be great if you have also helped to build brand voice and style guides to bring this to our consumer brands. You must be able to approach projects from a user-centric perspective, without losing sight of business goals. You are always focused on solutions that succeed from both vantage points.
Our ideal candidate comes from a role writing short-form copy. This role does not include longer-form writing such as blogs, articles, guides etc.
Prior experience in e-commerce, particularly retail.
Experience helping to create or evolve a brand’s voice and tone.
Ad agency experience.
Please submit a portfolio that includes both short-form projects (provide samples with your application or a link to your portfolio).
eDriving is on its way to changing the way the world drives by building smarter drivers. As a fast-growing, private-equity backed online education and services company, we’ve got our sights on being the brand of choice for teens, families, adults and companies looking for online drivers ed, traffic school, and corporate fleet risk management. With over 10 million drivers trained, 100+ state-approved training courses, and operations around the globe, we are the largest player in this space and are expanding rapidly.
The driving school/safety market is being disrupted today by rapid changes in technology. eDriving sits directly at the convergence of several major trends that position the company for significant growth. The emergence of apps and wearable devices that capture and control personal data and behavior; the expansion of usage-based insurance models; and the proliferation of businesses dependent on contracted drivers. Our mission is to take advantage of these market opportunities by offering a full suite of solutions that help drivers become smarter and safer behind the wheel in close partnership with corporations, fleet services, and insurance companies.
