CRM/Email Manager

We are looking for a CRM/Email marketing expert to develop best-in-class campaigns.  Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, resourceful marketer with proven success in developing emails for ecommerce; this includes transactional emails, LTV campaigns, lead nurturing campaigns, and customer experience programs for new users and beyond. S/he has a strong retail instinct, understanding how to position and sell our products via email. Is this you?  If so, let’s talk.


  • Develop the strategy/plans, implementation and optimization of email campaigns to meet/exceed revenue goals. These include Cart Abandonment, DRIP campaigns, transactional, cross-sell and up-sell programs.
  • Lead a small, cross-functional team to design, implement and evaluate campaigns; partner with Email Operations, the internal Creative Agency, content writers, product marketing and more.
  • Develop a cross-sell strategy to boost LTV and AOV.  Drive the next logical eDriving product as well as special partner offers that extend the lifecycle of our customer relationship.
  • Support students that are in-course to deliver a strong customer experience with our brand. This includes: onboarding support, student and parent progress reports and other emails as needed.
  • Analyze and report on the overall performance of various programs/tactics.
  • Establish test plans in conjunction with Email Operations to continually optimize engagement metrics across all programs
  • Collaborate with other channels and the call center to align campaign strategically and tactically for maximum impact. Maintain ongoing communication to stay abreast of programs and tests across the company.
  • Staying abreast of the latest trends, best practices and tools in email marketing


  • Bachelor’s Degree, with 5+ years’ experience working in email marketing
  • Proven success designing and implementing a wide range of email campaign types
  • Proficient in developing emails—both copywriting and creative-- that motivate consumers to action.  & direct response copywriting and creative skills that motivate consumers to action.
  • Expertise in optimization testing to boost email effectiveness (copy, creative, targeting, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success boosting results thru customer segmentation & personalization.
  • Strong results orientation, with a bias towards action
  • Strong quantitative analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Experience with use of dynamic content in emails
  • Experience with CRM lifecycle planning and maximizing LTV
  • Expert knowledge of email best practices, both creative/design and response metrics
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics
